Alli

Given the fact that Alli is in super-advertisement-mode, I googled.

Then I explored the site.

It speaks of "treatment effects". Not "side effects". "Treatment effects".

Here's a piece of advice, from the Alli site, on how to deal with one of the "treatment effects":

You may feel an urgent need to go to the bathroom. Until you have a sense of any treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work.

I am still laughing. Out loud. Repeatedly.

Really? This is better than a sensible diet and exercise?

Really?

In other words: you will shit in your pants. Take precautions.

How is this any different than when the potato chips industry tried this with the same "treatment effects"?

Good God, people, are you really this stupid? If so, I no longer wish to share this planet with you.

I can't help but wonder who actually buys that stuff?

I'd rather be fat than shit in my pants. ;)
